What is almaty arena?

Almaty Arena, also known as Baluan Sholak Sports Palace, is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It was built in 2011 and has a seating capacity of up to 12,000 for various events such as ice hockey, basketball, gymnastics, concerts, and other entertainment events. The arena is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and technologies and is considered to be one of the most modern and largest indoor arenas in Central Asia. The arena hosted the 2017 Winter Universiade and is the home arena of the KHL ice hockey team, HC Barys Astana.
